Woodridge Elementary School is a public school in DeSoto, Texas (USA). It is part of the DeSoto Independent School District.
Located at 1001 Woodridge Drive, the school serves students in grades pre-kindergarten through five that reside in southeastern DeSoto. It also serves the eastern portion of Glenn Heights.
Woodridge opened in 2003 as a replacement campus for Belt Line Elementary, which was converted into an alternative learning center.

As of the 2005-2006 school year, Woodridge had a total of 674 students (73.3% African American, 6.7% White, 17.7% Hispanic, 1.8% Asian, and 0.6% Native American).
Based on the accountability ratings released by the Texas Education Agency on August 1, 2006, Woodridge Elementary is currently rated "Recognized".
Students from Woodridge attend either DeSoto East Middle School or McCowan Middle School.[1]
In the 2005-2006 school year, DeSoto ISD began a mandatory school uniform policy at all of its schools.
